Your Chelmsford driving lessons website's DSA Approved Driving Instructor is Dave Flower.  I own and run Chelmer Driving School and teach driving lessons in Chelmsford.

Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor.

Driving Instructor Chelmsford Certificate

My name is Dave Flower and I am a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency approved driving instructor teaching driving lessons in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. I have the green ADI licence (above) to show I am on the register of Approved driving instructors and I legally I have to display this in the windscreen of the car to give paid tuition. I have also been nationally CRB checked for my suitability to work with young adults. I am patient and welcome nervous pupils. I trained to be an instructor with The Instructor College in Brentwood. On qualifying I set up Chelmer Driving School in Chelmsford as I believe I can provide much better value driving lessons as an Independant instructor than as a franchised instructor to a big school.

Confidence Building Tuition.

Confidence is a very big part of learning to drive.  I will push you along at a speed best suited to you to maintain and build your driving confidence.  I will praise all the things you are doing right, but expect you as my pupil to also make plenty of mistakes.  Making mistakes is all part of the learning to drive experience.  I will rectify mistakes calmly without ever shouting, using a very simple method (Identify, Analysis, Remedy) to fix your driving faults. This approah maintains and builds confidence which in turn helps you make positive driving decisions.

Lesson Plans And Free Lesson Handouts.

In my driving lessons I use the Smartlearners lesson plan visual teaching system and lesson handouts. I provide handouts to allow you to fully prepare for your next driving lesson. By giving you a headstart in your knowledge your driving lessons become easier more interactive and fun.  The knowledge from lesson handouts also cut down on stationary driving lesson time which ultimately will speed up the process of obtaining your driving licence.

On The Buses.

Before I became a driving instructor I was a London bus driver. I obtained a BTEC in customer service and on both my covert DSA driving checks managed a drive with zero driving faults. It is this type of professionalism and Knowledge that I am now trying to pass on to new drivers of the future in Chelmsford.

To keep my bus driving skills up to scratch, I do some occasional part time local school bus driving work for a number of local Chelmsford schools.  I've recently worked at St John Payne RC  school, Great Baddow High School, King Edward Grammer School, Brentwood County High School, Sawyers Hall college, St Johns in Epping and Brentwood Ursuline.  So my younger prospective clients may even recognise me :)  To do this work I am also CRB checked through Essex County Council to work with children.
