January 2012 saw the introduction of the new theory test question bank that will no longer be published.  From a personal point of view I think this is a good thing as candidates can no longer just learn the question bank by memory.  Pupils now have to study more thoroughly to actually understand the theory.  This should have a knock on effect in the car as understanding should make for better practical drivers.  All the new lisenced DSA software from companies like Driving Test Success and Theory Test Pro now have an official explanation to every question to aid understanding... Its all positive
