Chelmer Driving School.

Chelmer Driving School is an independent driving school in the Chelmsford Essex area.  The school is run by Dave Flower a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor.  I am a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA) and have Public Liability and Profesional Indemnity Insurance with them.   I am based in the Moulsham Lodge CM2 area of Chelmsford.  However I offer driving lessons in a 15 mile radius of Chelmsford, covering Chelmsford, Hornchurch and Brentwood driving test centres.  I am committed to continued professional development to keep my skills up to date. 

School Objective.

The aim of the School is to obtain first time passes in the shortest realistic time frame.  I will tailor my driving lessons to provide the very best tuition suited to you the individual at a great price.  You will be ready to pass the driving test and drive safely for life.

• Lessons for novice provisional drivers with no previous driving experience.
• Lessons for provisional drivers who want a change of driving instructor.
• Lessons for provisional drivers who have previously failed the driving test and need fresh help.
• Pass Plus courses for recently qualified drivers.
• Motorway lessons for recently qualified drivers.
• Refresher lessons for qualified drivers who have lost confidence or have had a long break from the roads. 

How Long Will It Take You To Learn.

The Driving Standards Agency estimate that candidates who pass their test have had on average 45 hours of professional driving lessons, combined with 22 hours of private practice.  If you have access to a car your driving lessons time and cost can be greatly reduced.  I encourage private practice as it helps to achieve your licence if you can stick to what you are taught on your lessons.  I am happy to work with you and your accompanying driver to keep you on track.

Half Price Taster Lesson.

For you to decide if I am the driving instructor for you I offer a half price first driving lesson.  So whether you want a 60, 90 or 120 minute lesson all you pay is half the standard driving lesson rate.  See Lesson Rates page for details.  Also please check the Special Offers page for occasional special one off driving lessons in Chelmsford deals.

Referral scheme

I will pay £10.00 for every referral you make of family or friends to chelmer Driving School.  The only condition is they complete 6 hours of driving lessons.
